Changes to our privacy policy

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page.

PAYMENT

All accounts are payable on demand and are strictly met. If no demand is made, then all accounts must be paid within 30 days of invoice date. If at the date on which the Seller is ready to despatch or deliver the goods the Buyer delays delivery for any reason, the Seller may present invoices for full settlement with 30 days of that date, in default of payment and without prejudice to any other rights or remedies the Seller reserves the right to demand payment of all outstanding balances whether or not due and/or cancel all outstanding orders. Interest shall be charged on outstanding balances at the rate of 1.25% per month. The Buyer shall not be entitled to withhold or set-off payment for goods delivered or work done for any reason whatsoever.

DESPATCH/DELIVERY

The method and route of despatch of the goods shall be selected by the Seller which shall use its best endeavours to take into account in such selection the preferences of the Buyer. The Seller shall not be obliged to insure the goods against loss or damage in transit.

Claims in respect of non-delivery of goods must be made as soon as possible and in any event within 3 working days of the receipt by the Buyer of the Seller’s invoice.

Claims in respect of apparent incomplete or incorrect supplies or of goods damaged in transit must be notified to the carrier and to the Seller as soon as possible and in any event not later than 3 working days after receipt of the goods at the place of destination.

GENERAL

By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:

(a) you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
(b) you are at least 18 years old; and
(c) you are resident in one of the Serviced Countries; and
(d) you are accessing our site from that country.

Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Professional product prices exclude VAT.

Product prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already dispatched the Products.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have dispatched the Product, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.

As there is a flat charge for delivery we will not refund delivery charges where you only return part of an order.

If you believe that any detergent or chemical is damaged on delivery, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.

All machine related spare parts supplied, unless fitted by South West Cleaning Equipment will not come with any warranty. South West Cleaning Equipment will not accept liability for repairs carried out by a non Kärcher accredited third party.
